The screen isn't the enemy. Boredom is.
Screens win because they're always ready with something to do. Outside loses because it asks a kid to invent the game themselves. So we build the missing half: gear that makes the ordinary look extraordinary, and a mission deck that always has the next idea.
A kid who has looked at pond water at 400x doesn't need convincing to go back to the pond. That's the whole strategy.
