What ages is Learn to Be Wild made for?

Our core gear is designed for ages 5–12, with the sweet spot around 6–9. Younger explorers do great with the Bug Catcher and Habitat; older kids gravitate to the ExplorerScope and Adventure Journal.

How is this different from a subscription box?

There's no subscription and nothing gets thrown away. You buy real tools once, and the 50 Wild Missions deck keeps generating new adventures with the gear you already own.

Is the gear actually durable?

Yes. Everything is drop-tested and weather-tested, because kits that live in a closet don't change anything. If something breaks in the first year of normal use, we replace it.

How fast is shipping?

Orders ship from the US within one business day. Standard delivery is 3–5 business days and is free on orders over $50.

What's your return policy?

60 days, no questions. If it didn't get your kid outside, it didn't work, and we'll refund it.

We currently ship to the US, Canada, the UK, the EU and Australia. Duties are calculated at checkout.

Are the materials safe and sustainable?

All plastics are BPA-free and largely post-consumer recycled. Journals use FSC-certified paper, and every order ships plastic-free.
